Florida Band Tries to Get COVID-19 Virus "For the Free Exposure"
BY JOHN REMMERS | MARCH 22, 2020
Electronic Rock band Dancing with Ghosts wants to be the first indie band to get the COVID-19 virus according to guita-
rist/singer Josh Cannon. "The music world is really competitive and we just want to do something that no other band has done yet" said Cannon. Cannon and keyboar-
d/vocalist Stephanie Conner have been spotted in local nursing homes in their area licking door knobs. Conner explained, "With all the cost that goes into Facebook marketing, Instagram advertising, and bribing Spotify playlist curators, it just seems like a no-brainer, publicity wise, to get the Corona virus". With the proliferation of "virtual concerts" happening in living rooms across the country, Dancing with Ghosts wants to be the first band to play one of these concerts while also suffering from the virus. "Think about how punk rock that is, GG Allin eat your heart out!" Cannon exclaims as he and Connor get ready to head up to another nursing home in their home town of Jacksonville, Florida (yes, the same Jacksonville that brought the world Limp Bizkit). Though it might be a while before we actually hear anything from the band - As of yesterday Conner and Cannon were complaining about feeling feverish and lethargic. Hopefully these two mouth-breathing morons never procreate but until then we can only hope. Stay safe folks.
